Product Description
The new generation mill master chains are designed for the highest duty cement and aggregate industries applications. The chain combines the proven performance of the US central strand bush chains, but incorporates a high alloy heat treated K style dismountable attachment
(KD) which mounts on an extended pin retained with a heavy duty circlip. It is the bucket location that secures the KD attachment. The design allows for quick replacement in the event of damage and the potential to turn the attachment to utilise the unworn diameter of the bushing. Clearly the revolutionary double life chains have a positive impact on the cost of ownership.
The design of the chain is symmetrical to allow use on both sides to increase its operating hours. The chain pins are extended for attaching the corner bucket holders.
The chain's resistance to breaking load is at least 1200 kN.
Chain bushings and pins must be made of special heat-treated steel and inductively hardened;
The links should only be connected by pressing the pins of the connecting links. Fixation of fingers by mechanical means (keys, pins, cotter pins, locking rings) and welding is not allowed.
The chain/bucket assembly must be independent in order to replace the latter without dismantling the chain. Buckets should be mounted using corner holders, which are loosely fixed on the extended chain pins and secured to the buckets with high-strength bolts.
